Kenya: 2007 Presidential election results

Updated July 2010

The election was held on 27 December 2007 and there were 14 296 180 registered voters (Interparliamentary Union 2008).

Coalition

The Party of National Unity (PNU) was Democratic Party (DP) led coalition formed in August 2007 that grew to include 27 political parties some of whom fielded candidates for the National Assembly Elections under the PNU banner and others on their own account, but all supported Mwai Kibaki's presidential bid (Commonwealth Observation Mission 2008, 5. See Party of National Unity coalition members).
