The official launch of the RAC long-term election observation mission (EOM) to the CAR's presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled for 27 December 2020 EISA Central African Republic: RAC EOM launch

On 16 October 2020 in Bangui, Reseau arc-en-ciel (RAC; ie Rainbow Network in English), an EISA CSO partner, held the official launch of its long-term election observation mission to CAR's presidential and National Assembly elections scheduled for 27 December 2020. The coordinator of the mission is Fr Makomo Frédéric.

RAC is a network of 14 CSO, but this number was increased to 17 CSO EISA Central African Republic Resident Director Aime Konan attended the launch of the RAC long-term election observation mission for the sake of greater inclusivity. EU Ambassador Samuela Isopi, chief of Delegation in CAR, attended the launch. The launch followed on the training of 17 trainers on 21-25 September 2020 and of 150 long term observers on 13-14 October 2020.
