In October of 2020, EISA's Executive Director, Mr Denis Kadima conducted a working visit to Niger where the Executive Director visited various stakeholders.

The European Union provided an additional six month grant for EISA to support civil society organisations in election observation. The project commenced on 24 November 2020 and concludesd at the end of May 2021.
