2022 General elections


At the invitation of the Government of Kenya, EISA deployed a full-fledged short-term Election Observation Mission (EOM) to the 2022 Kenya General Elections comprised of 21 Short-term observers (STOs), mainly drawn from Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Election Management Bodies (EMBs) and academia from across the continent. Headed by Goodluck Jonathan, former President of Nigeria, and his deputy Baïdessou Soukolgué, EISA's Executive Director, observers will be deployed in ten counties in all regions, until 12 August 2022.
